CAR conducts industry research, develops new methodologies, forecasts industry trends, advises on public policy, and sponsors multi-stakeholder communication forums.

More than 100 people attended the CAR Breakfast Briefing-The Future of Personal Mobility: Advanced Technology on the Horizon on Tuesday, September 29th where a distinguished group of technology leaders from the automotive industry and beyond addressed the future of personal mobility. The speakers included: Chris Borroni-Bird, Ph.D., General Motors; Dave LeBlanc, Ph.D., University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute; Jeffrey Adik, Intraduce Transit, LLC; and Steve Millstein, President, ATX Group, Inc.

More than 600 industry stakeholders attended CAR’s flagship event in Traverse City, August 4-7. The four-day CAR Management Briefing Seminars hosted a stellar lineup of speakers including several government leaders, reflecting the new role of the federal government in the automotive industry.
